Senior Helpers Offers the Gift of Time This Holiday Season
Colin Little, Owner & Operator of Senior Helpers of Kelowna, a newly opened in-home care service provider in the Okanagan, is launching a give back campaign aimed at easing the financial burden for seniors and caregivers this holiday season.

Senior Helpers Offers the Gift of Time This Holiday Season

Kelowna, BC (December 12, 2024)-Senior Helpers® of Kelowna, a newly opened in-home care service provider in the Okanagan, is launching a give back campaign aimed at easing the financial burden for seniors and caregivers this holiday season. For every three hours of in-home care services that are purchased, Senior Helpers® will donate one additional hour of service free of charge. The campaign will run until January 31, 2025. Terms and conditions apply.

Senior Helpers® of Kelowna approaches client care holistically and is adaptive to the unique requirements of the individual. They provide affordable in-home care services that are designed to meet a wide range of needs, from daily companion care such as transportation, errands, meal prep, light household chores to specialized support for various conditions, including Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Parkinson’s, and other chronic illnesses. Their primary goal is to give clients and their families peace of mind through providing customizable, dependable, quality care.

Colin Little, the owner and operator of Senior Helpers® of Kelowna, opened the office on Pandosy Street in Kelowna, B.C. in July 2024 because he believes that seniors and their families deserve freedom to choose how to live their lives—to age gracefully in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.

“I decided to establish Senior Helpers® in the Okanagan after witnessing the struggles families of aging loved one’s face in finding access to affordable, quality care that prioritizes independence, safety, and dignity,” said Little. “At Senior Helpers®, we know the importance of quality of life and want to help you lighten the load by supporting age-related needs as if we were a member of your family.”

Knowing that every dollar counts, Senior Helpers® hopes that by giving one hour of complimentary in-home care services, it will help to alleviate the financial pressures typically associated with the holidays and into the new year.

Senior Helpers® makes it easier for families to truly understand the care needs of their loved ones with their exclusive Senior Helpers® LIFE Profile™ (Life, Independence, Function, Evaluation).  LIFE Profile is a data-driven assessment tool that provides a holistic view of the risks and factors that influence a loved one’s ability to age in their own home.

“Whether it is through our holiday giving campaign or our free LIFE Profile, I believe in Senior Helpers® and its ability to foster connections and help seniors maintain independence in their home,” said Little.

Senior Helpers® of Kelowna is a trusted partner in delivering quality care. For more information about Senior Helpers® of Kelowna’s holiday give back campaign or to arrange a free Life Profile Assessment, please visit seniorhelpers.ca/bc/kelowna/ or call 236-766-1465.
