I'm Sonia McFarlane, the proud owner of this establishment in Scarborough, Canada. Allow me to share a bit about myself and why I embarked on this fulfilling journey.
My decision to open a Senior Helpers location stems from a deep-seated passion for supporting seniors and their families. Throughout my life, I've witnessed the challenges that come with aging, both personally and through the experiences of my loved ones. Navigating the maze of finding adequate support for aging family members ignited a fire within me to make a difference in the lives of seniors and their families.
For me, opening Senior Helpers is the culmination of a dream—a dream to provide unparalleled care and assistance to seniors, ensuring they enjoy a life of comfort, dignity, and independence. It's a privilege to be able to utilize my personal experiences to positively impact the lives of others.
On a personal note, I'm a proud mother of three adult children and a grandmother to eleven beautiful grandchildren. Family is at the core of everything I do, and it's this sense of familial love and responsibility that drives my commitment to serving seniors in our community.
When I'm not busy at Senior Helpers, you'll likely find me indulging in some of my favorite pastimes. I enjoy leisurely walks, challenging puzzles that exercise the mind, and the thrill of action-packed movies that provide a brief escape from reality.
My work in the community is a testament to my dedication to making a difference. I actively support charities such as SickKids and Special Olympics, believing wholeheartedly in the power of giving back to those in need.
At Senior Helpers, we're more than just a caregiving service—we're a compassionate companion on life's journey. I invite you to join us as we strive to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors and their families, one heartfelt interaction at a time. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your story.
